We love quality materials, and quality workmanship, and we have the deepest respect for the people behind them. I remember our first visit to the French tannery that supplies our Contemporary leathers – being awestruck by the sheer number of colourful hides hanging in the rafters, all the one gorgeous shade, and all destined for Hermès. So when we came across the Hermès travelling Festival des Metiers (Festival of Crafts) we spared a moment to touch the leather hides and watch the leather craftsman at work. About twelve months ago Jonas Peterson left his high profile, high paying position as a leading advertising copywriter to become a full-time photographer... In his first year on the block he shot 42 weddings and jumped to number one in Google rankings for 'Brisbane wedding photographer' (actually he did that in two months). He's booked 15 destination weddings so far this year and describes his business as 'wedding photography with a touch of awesome'. He's built a loyal following on his blog (over 2000 hits a day), has over 1450 followers on Twitter and a similar number of fans on his Facebook To View More >>

We love its natural, restrained good taste – professional wedding photography at its best, and typical of the consistently good work Geoff White sends us. Liz and Adam choose Meadowood, St. Helena, in California's wine country as the location for their destination wedding on May 19th last year. To View More >>

This one by Josef Isayo certainly did. He shot Porsche and Adam's wedding in early 2007. The couple, two ER doctors from San Francisco, came to Josef and asked him to shoot their wedding in Cuixmala, Mexico- an opportunity many photographers strive for. But as an experienced destination photographer who's shot several weddings in Mexico, Josef knows it's no walk in the park - you've got to be prepared. I asked Josef to share To View More >>
